We cater specifically to the wearable and home fashion industry. The focus of the boutique is to provide a new or smaller designer a venue that allows them to go directly to the public. Navigating the twists and turns of the design industry is hard enough without the added challenge of marketing. Designer Alley Boutique is a consignment website, joining and listing your items are free! We currently only charge a percentage only when you sell. There are no membership fees, no listing fees,
no photography fees or other fees prior to making the sale. Upon selling your item (isn't that a great feeling?) we charge a 13.5% consignment fee to cover all of the expenses
for running the site.
No, currently you do not need a credit card to list your items. You do need to have a validated Paypal account.
Once we recieve an order for your item, we will email you the customer information, and send you a Paypal to you for the total for your order + shipping less the 13.5% consignment fee!
For the saftey of our customers, and our other Designers, we screen each and every new potiential consignee. You must send your product information, and photo's to us for review before consigning!
Once we have checked your refrences, and your business information, it takes 24 hours to set your pages up and get your products online!

Currently we work with Designers in the United States and Canada. We may have opportunities for International Designers at a later time!
In a traditional consignment boutique an owner will set up shop and give marketing space to consignees who bring items to the shop to sell. The consignee will pay
the shop owner a percentage of the final sale price in exhange for having a marketing venue for their items. Designer Alley LLC offers a similar arrangement to
emerging and new fashion desigers, home fashion designers, performance clothing designers, pattern designers, fashion artists, jewelry designers, shoe designers or accessory designers.
Designer Alley LLC owns the website, performs SEO maintance, pays for advertising, provides the credit card and billing processing, and provides a venue for a Designer to market their item(s) to the public.
In exchange the Designer pays Designer Alley LLC a percentage for every item sold on the website. Once an item is sold Designer Alley LLC sends an email to the Designer
with the order and contact information of the customer, as well as the amount for the order, less the consignment fee. The Designer then fills the order.
With a consignment website a Designer does not need to maintain the expense of a merchant processing program, website and website development, or seo programs, they can focus on what they
love to do best....Design!

suppliers or other individual who as had exprience with you in a professional manner. Once we have verified these then we will discuss your marketing needs and how many products you wish to start out with!
