What are Textile Sourcing Services? In this busy day and age it is hard to keep up with everything. As a busy designer or production manager you have your hands full with your design and production; to add tracking down textiles and construction componets can be more time consuming then you want to spend. When you use our textile sourcing services you get a sourcing agent with over 20 years experience in the fashion industry! Your agent will collect samples, print sketches and textile specification requirements from your company. We will then locate your specific requirment with in our group of mills, manufactures, and wholesalers. In addition to locating your product we will also work to get you the best price and keep an eye on quality control. How does it work? We currently have two options for Textile Sourcing. Please contact us at (541)690-5491 to set up an appointment to discuss your textile sourcing needs. Service may be purchased by the single time or a contract can be set up to provide on going sourcing. Please be prepared to give us company information as well as textile specification requirments for ongoing contracts. At this point we will run a back ground and credit check on your company. With a satisfactory back ground check we will then set up a sourcing contract. After the sourcing contract is in place we will then locate your item. Your item will then be shipped directly to you from the mill, manufacture or wholesaler it orignates from. How long does your sourcing contract last? Sourcing contracts run between six months to five years. During this time we will use our resources to locate all your textile and componet needs. What is the minimum order for sourcing? Minimum order is based upon many factors please contact us with your specific requirements and we can include minimums with your price quote when we locate your item. Please keep in mind mills and manufactures have larger minimums than wholesalers and jobbers. What is the cost of your services, and how are they billed. The cost for our services depends on the type of product you are needing, single time services can be charged on your credit card and cost $25.00 per service. Contract services are billed in compliance with the details of your contract. Typically we will charge between $.50 and $2.00 per yard for our sourcing services. Componets will be charged at $.50 to $2.00 per case. When we locate your item, we will contact you with the total. |
